We are regular travellers to Hotel Numbi (approx 5-6 times a year), as a large group of friends and family who ride bikes in the Mpumalanga region. We tried a few spots to start off with about 5 years ago but once we stayed at Hotel Numbi, we have not stayed anywhere else, we haven't wanted to. From the staff, to the service, to the food, ammenities and facilities, it's a great hotel that we look forward to visiting each and every time. And the value for money is wonderful which is always a huge plus when travelling with a group of people.
The best way to describe Hotel Numbi is the following: You arrive a guest, you leave a friend....and what more could you want from a hotel that you are definately going to return to once you've experienced it.

Nanette & Martin Matthews Review
My husband and visited Hazyview from 15 – 19 December 2010. We decided to stay at Hotel Numbi as I have been there with my family 3 times before. The service is always friendly and they are very helpful. When I confirmed a week before arrival that everything is okay, Willem Jnr upgrades us to the Honeymoon Suite. As it was my husband’s birthday, they also put a bottle champagne and a carrot cake in the room at no extra charge.
Willem Jnr also arranged that we could go and have dinner at the Pioneers Grill in the Rendezvous Tourism centre next to the hotel on the evening of my husband’s birthday. The restaurant is also owned by them. We had a wonderful dinner, and they gave my husband his dessert (cream brule), free of charge on a nice decorated plate and they sang to him as well.
We went to the Kruger National Park early one morning and they packed us a breakfast pack. I was really impressed as they put in a lot of effort in preparation and also the variety of snacks they put in for us. We ate in the hotel every evening and it was part of the special we booked for. There was a set menu each night, but the food was delicious and of high quality. One thing is for sure, Riaan and his team know how to grill steak to the customer’s need.
The rooms and facilities is of high standard. Even swimming towels were provided and I’ve never been to any place that do that. We enjoyed our stay and it was really home away from home.
Breakfast in the mornings was a whole spread and we could pick and choose. We will definitely return to Numbi as the service is always friendly and they go out of their way to make you feel welcome and to make your stay memorable. We didn’t wanted to leave there, but unfortunately, reality calls.

Engelbrecht Troue November 2010
Aan almal wat die Engelbrecht troue so `n sukses gemaak het,
Ek kan nie glo dat die troue verby is en dat daar al amper weer `n week verby is nie.
Nie een oomblik is ek spyt dat ons van Venue verander het nie.Dit was deur en deur die moeitewerd.
Baie dankie aan almal wat gehelp het .Niks het ons gemis nie.Van die moeite met die saal, die verblyf, die gasvryheid tot die tuine en die mooi blommetjies in die beddentjies by die kerk nie. Als was perfek.
Almal is dit eens dat dit `n wenresep was om so `n kuier naweek te kon hê. Verskeie mense het genoem dat die personeel ongelooflik vriendelik was en dit lyk asof hulle lekker werk en gelukkig is.
As jy vra wat was die hoogtepunt van die naweek was, is almal dit eens…..die kos.Baie dankie Riaan en jou personeel. Wens ons het nader gebly want dan was ons verseker gereelde besoekers daar vir ete.
Al positiewe kritiek wat ek vir julle wil deurgee is dat julle gerus meer detail aan die honeymoon suite kan gee. Ek besef julle het nie so baie troues nie maar dit is eintlik die hoogtepunt van so troue. Miskien spesiale beddegoed net vir sulke geleenthede en dalk bietjie roosblare .Of noem dalk dat die opmaak van die kamer deur die mense self gedoen kan word.
Maar weereens baie dankie. Sal vir julle foto`s stuur sodra ons dit bymekaar het.

Letter from Leanne and Graham King
Dear Willem Fick and family
My husband and I visit the Kruger National Park many times each year (9 times in 2009 and 4 times, to date, in 2010). We absolutely love the tranquility of the Park and the wonderful opportunity it offers to relax and unwind. We are “Principal & Educator”, so this quiet time is an absolute treat for us.
When not staying with friends in Marloth Park, we always look for accommodation for one night, when leaving for our breaks, so that we can enter the Park early in the morning. When our children were younger we used to wake at 03:00 and get the travelling done with them sleeping, but now we just enjoy a leisurely drive, sleepover and dinner, before entering into Kruger.
We have tried numerous places in Sabie, Graskop and Hazyview in the past, but have to pass a huge compliment to you on the wonderful facility that you offer. Besides the very competitive price, the accommodation was superior and the friendliness of all your staff admiring. The room was spotless and super comfy. We also enjoyed a superb meal at the Pioneer’s Grill. Your daughter deserves to do extremely well – hope she does not give up her talent for the attraction of the BIG CITY. What a loss that would be!
My husband incidentally stayed at Hotel Numbi when he was a child approximately 40 years ago, and has raved to his parents and siblings, recalling its new charms.
We wish you all continued success in your family business, and may you continue to go from strength to strength. We will definitely be back!
